Holiday plans for the future

2011 - Paul, Adam and I will be going on the Pacific Dawn - the 'Week Fantastique' cruise leaving Brisbane on 10 December and arriving back 7 days later after visiting Noumea, Lifou Isle and Vila. Paul and I have splashed out on a suite for this one (the only suite we'll ever be able to afford short of winning the Lotto!). Adam has a little room down on Deck 4 - so low down that it has a porthole and not a window. Still, he's not likely to get seasick down there :-)

2012 - in the throes of planning for the next big holiday. Hopefully it will go something like this:

• fly to London
• do a coach tour in the UK
• fly to Copenhagen
• 21 day Transatlantic Cruise ending in New Jersey - including an overnight stay in Reykjavik - seriously cool!
• another coach tour around the east coast of the USA
• fly to Florida
• 7 day Caribbean cruise on the biggest cruise ship ever - the Oasis of the Seas
• fly home poor and exhausted!

The cruises are both booked, we just need to fill in the spaces in between - but this is all happening August - October next year and it's too early to book tours and flights yet.

2015 - the big one which probably involves selling the house or the child or both! 36 night 100th anniversary Gallipoli cruise, starting from Fremantle on 26 March 2015 and finishing in Rome.

Our big trip in 2010

I first started this blog to talk about our holiday in 2010:

• First, we fly to Los Angeles and join a Cosmos coach tour: Los Angeles - Scottsdale (Phoenix) - Flagstaff - Las Vegas - Tulare - Sonora - San Francisco
• Then, it's back to Los Angeles for an overnight stay and a baseball game - Angels v Royals at Angel Stadium
• Before joining the end of the Dawn Princess 2010 World Cruise: Los Angeles - Honolulu, Hawaii - Papeete and Moorea, French Polynesia - Pago Pago, American Samoa -Auckland, New Zealand - Sydney, Australia

Now, we'll be using the blog for the next few trips away - as many as we can afford while we're still working!
