One more sleep!

Today's the last day before we leave and surprisingly we're mostly already organised - the packing is pretty much done, we know what else is left to do and there's a whole day to do it in.
The cat has now unfortunately worked out that something's up. She spent much of yesterday hiding under our bed which is a place she only goes when she's really unhappy.  She hates it when we go away, although I'm pretty sure it's only because it reduces the number of slaves in the house available to do her bidding  :-)  We're going to soothe her nerves by putting her favourite doona cover on the bed tonight so she can sleep on it - and destroy it some more! - while we're away.
Tomorrow morning when the taxi arrives to pick us up, it's going to be minus 4 degrees or thereabouts, which has been the pattern here for the last few weeks.  The maximum for the last few weeks has rarely gotten above 14 or 15 degrees.  And, that's basically the forecast for at least the next week as well.  But, the minimum temperature for Bournemouth for the week we arrive is forecast to be 14 degrees - and that's in the middle of the night; daytime temperatures are going to be as high as 19 degrees.  So, we're leaving Australia for better weather in England - you don't often get to say that  :-)
